Analysis/Problem Identification
We are suggesting that the dimension of Analysis/Problem Identification is required for most recruiters. Analysis/Problem Identification is a key competency as it explores securing relevant information and identifying key issues and relationships from a base of information; relating and comparing data from different sources; identifying cause-effect relationships.

Of the 12 competencies that are currently within Aspen’s assessment set related to Analysis/Problem Identification, we are suggesting that at least these 5 are relevant towards most recruiters.

Each competency can be transitioned into a question for performance evaluations or interviews. As an example, a question related to #3 could be – “Describe a time when you weren’t sure what a supervisor wanted. How did you handle the situation?”
